Moathouse cakes

It is a shocking confession but until the Christmas festivities I had never been into the Moathouse Cafe Restaurant in High Street.... and it's me who has been missing out.

I finally got around to going inside on the evening of the festivities. I went in for a takeaway coffee to warm my hands while walking around the town shopping and listening to musicians and joining in the general goodwill to all.

What an amazing selection of cakes!

If you have never been inside I urge you to give it a try -- only don't do what I did and go in after you have eaten -- go in hungry and feast on the amazing cakes.

They also had a very affordable menu of snacks and dinners -- I was amazed I'd not noticed before how reasonably priced their menu is.

Nice cheerful pleasant young staff serving too, and a very good latte.
