Walk and Talk the Monarch's Way (lecture)

Enjoy a talk by Helen Poole on the final stage of Charles II's escape which took place in Sussex.

Followed by a 4 mile walk from the Norfolk Arms to the George and Dragon pub in Houghton, which proudly boasts that King Charles II reputedly stopped there in 1651 when fleeing the country after his defeat at the battle of Worcester.
