As the festive season draws to a close and you realise your jeans are too tight and your head is frazzled - it's time to kickstart your new healthy year in Arundel.

Get fit in Arundel: Start with a stroll along the river
Arundel is a great place to shed those pounds you've put on over Christmas because there are so many things you can do - and they are all free.
For example - why not take a brisk walk or run along the River Arun? Or how about getting out in the South Downs National Park (which Arundel is part of ) and walk as much (or as little) of the South Downs Way as you see fit.
You can buy loads of guides and maps to walking in the area in the Book Ferret in Arundel's High Street.
And if you fancy something a bit more fun - then how about a round of mini golf on Mill Lane?
Or better still go for a stroll around Swanbourne Lake - and you can always stop off at Swanbourne Lodge for some tea (and cake!) after your exertions.
You could even get really serious and join a local sports club - like the tennis club or the football club.
