And on Saturday August 28, from 2.30pm till 3.30pm, local group Theatre Akimbo will be hosting ‘Tell Tales,’ a story and craft-making session for children aged five to 11.

Mike Hall, West Sussex County Council Deputy Cabinet Member for Communications, said: “Arundel Library is a vital part of the town, and staff are delighted to be involved in its festivities.”

Free tickets for both events are available from the Library (BN18 9DT). For more information call 01903 883188 or visit www.westsussex.gov.uk

The festival itself will be running from Friday August 20 till Bank Holiday Monday (August 30) with an eclectic mix of music, arts, and drama. There are many new exciting events taking place including open air cinema at Swanbourne Lake.
