Whenever I visit this cosy little tea room, I always feel as though Miss Marple should be sitting at a table, drinking tea and solving crimes! It is so quintessentially English with chinz sofas, blue and white china and wonderfully old fashioned trinkets filling every corner. I love it! In the winter, the fire crackles deliciously and in the summer there is a delightful terrace which catches the afternoon sun. They have a wonderful array of cakes and light snacks and the delicious sandwiches come in dainty triangles, filled to bursting with wonderful fillings. The cream teas are indulgent and scrumptious and come with a proper pot of tea. Definately worth visiting for a real treat.

I went to this Tea room today and it was very good. The toasted sandwiches we had were very tasty and we had a full pot of tea and some scrambled eggs on toast. The place was busy and unfortunately they forgot my daughters order of a chicken sandwich but apologised for the delay so that was alright. I would recommend them if you want a light snack and a decent cup of tea.
