Most of the town's sixthformers go to nearby Worthing College  - which was celebrating with its best ever results with more students than ever achieving pass grades.

The A level pass rate was 98.3% with 46.2% of students gaining higher grades (A*-B.) 25 A level subjects achieving a 100% pass rate.

81 students achieved 3 or 4 A*/A grades or Advanced Diplomas.

The AS pass rate was 85.5%

The pass rate for BTEC Advanced Diploma was 100% with 91.4% gaining higher grades.

Principal Peter Corrigan said: "These results are just rewards for the continued hard work, dedication and effort of young people and staff at Worthing College and reflect the quality of teaching and learning we offer. We wish our students every success in their future at university or in the world of work."
