What's not to love about this place. Utterly brilliant. Would shop here everyday if I could and I would eat at the American-style coffee bar upstairs too! I want all the yum sugary food they sell here. So cool.

I really LOVE this shop! The cookware section upstairs is devine and if I won the lottery it would be the first place I'd go (after the bank!). It has loads of cool gadgets and funky kitchen utensils. It's everything Lakeland wants to be but isn't. There is also a nice coffee bar in there. It also sells great gifts from art and books to panama hats!
Sparks Yard in Tarrant Street sells an eclectic range of homeware and gifts, and it's very easy to lose many hours browsing through their stock and pondering potential purchases in their coffee bar. A great place for fans of funky odds and ends.

Love this shop - it has three floors and a cafe and a huge range of things you didn't know you wanted until you walked through the door - jewellery, nice gifts, fantastic kitchen things including some giant scissors and other iconic things for hanging on walls to give a house the feel of "designer cool". I really liked the art works on the stairs -- artist must be of a smilar age to me given what things she used in her word art!
Bought some american foodie things to give as gifts and kept some myself.
Totally delighted to find an outlet for some of the more obscure food items that you sometimes read about in recipe books etc.
And loved the music playing in the diner area so much I bought the CD - really unusual mix of music for sale that I haven't heard anywhere else.

What a cool place to shop and hang out. There is the most fantastic American-style coffee bar upstairs where you can sit and chat and the prettiest courtyard garden if you want to relax and get away from it all. They have fantastic milkshakes and coffee at the bar. As well as yummy cookies, cake and soup. The shopping has a diverse mix of homeware, books, excellent gifts and art. There is a massive range of American confectionery upstairs. The music playing was chilled-out hip hop and you can buy the CDs there too - which I did. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic place.
