Madehurst Cricket Club

Hello,

I am the 'Scribbler' and am accountable for the creation of the Madehurst Cricket Club reports, which have previously only appeared in the parish magazine of Eartham, Slindon and Madehurst. I have been invited to submit these to the site in the future as part of a broader view of what is going on in the villages that surround and support Arundel. I hope you will find them fun and will be encouraged to come and visit this local cricket club in both it's sporting and social activities.

The club enjoys a secluded and bucolic rural setting on a private estate where our achievements have in the past been only witnessed by supporters of the game and local Buzzards, Red Kites, Falcons, Badgers and Foxes. We are soon to start the construction of a new club house, which will also provide a recreational and social centre for the village and will be available for hire to local people.
